Lung
disease is the third leading cause of death in the United
States. Today, more than 35 million Americans are living
with a lung disease. Some of the more common causes
of lung disease are smoking, asbestos, environmental
pollution and radon.
People
who have lung problems should see a doctor. If you have
a lung problem, your doctor may be able to help you.
In many instances, a consultation with a physician who
specializes in the diagnosis in treatment of lung diseases
(pulmonologist) is necessary.
